Best System Design Course in India: Prices in Rupees, Compared
The short answer
It depends on how you learn and how soon your interview is. For one long course paid once, ours has 770 lessons with lifetime access, takes UPI, cards and netbanking, and includes Indian case studies such as UPI, IRCTC Tatkal, Blinkit and redBus. It costs ₹1,111 once in India or $25 elsewhere. Seen from India on 4 November 2026, GUVI's recorded course was ₹2,499 once and ByteByteGo was ₹8,299 a year, so ours was the lowest paid price we found. If you want a short course with a certificate, GUVI or DesignGurus' Grokking course fit better, and we say why below.
Our course, the System Design Masterclass: 770 lessons, about 287 hours, ₹1,111 once in India or $25 elsewhere, lifetime access, 18 lessons free with no signup.

System design courses for learners in India, side by side
Rupee prices are what each provider's own page showed a visitor in India on 4 November 2026; dollar prices are what a visitor in the United States saw the same day. Many were sale prices, so the list price is given where the page showed one.

What matters when you buy from India
- The price in rupees, and whether you pay once or every year. A yearly plan costs the same again each year you keep it.
- How you pay. Our site takes UPI, cards and netbanking in rupees, and GUVI sells in rupees; several global sites charge in dollars or show a regional price.
- Examples you recognise. A design is easier to remember when you have used the product. Our course has full walkthroughs of UPI, IRCTC Tatkal booking, Blinkit and redBus.
- Depth. A 15 to 20 hour course is enough for a quick revision. A longer course teaches the building blocks under every design, which helps at work too.
- Live help. If you want a teacher and mock interviews, look at a live programme, not a self-paced course.
Where the others are stronger
- GUVI's course is short (15 hours), comes with a certificate, and is made by a large Indian learning company.
- DesignGurus' Grokking course is focused on interview patterns and has videos and a certificate; seen from India it showed a regional price of $26 once.
- ByteByteGo has some of the clearest diagrams in the field, and one plan also covers coding, object-oriented design and behavioural prep.
- AlgoMaster covers DSA and low-level design in the same plan.
- Hello Interview has many free question breakdowns.
Where ours falls short
- Our lessons are written. There are no videos.
- The self-paced course has no human coach, no mock interviews and no certificate.
- We are a smaller, newer site than ByteByteGo, Educative or GUVI.
