Where Hello Interview Premium is stronger
- Its core guide, System Design in a Hurry, is free, and the site keeps free content and videos beside Premium. That is a good place for anyone to start.
- It has 43 premium videos and practice interviews with an AI interviewer that give a hire or no-hire call for your level and a written report. Ours has no videos. We do have an AI mock interviewer with a scorecard, and paid live one-to-one mocks.
- Its practice interview feedback, the page says, is calibrated against more than 10,000 human-led mock interviews with FAANG interviewers.
- It covers more than system design: low-level design, coding, AI coding, code review and behavioural interviews, plus more than 5,000 recent questions reported by candidates.
Pick Hello Interview if your interview is a few weeks away, you know the basics, and you want breakdowns, videos and AI practice interviews. Read its free guide either way.
When ours is the better pick
- You need the building blocks first. Hello Interview describes its core guide as dense, practical and efficient, made for the interview. Ours starts at latency, load balancing and caching and goes up to distributed systems in order.
- You want system design for work too: observability, security and DevOps are in the same course.
- You want to pay less, once, and keep it for life, with every later lesson included.
Where ours falls short
- It has no videos. Every lesson is written.
- The self-paced course has no human coach, no mock interviews and no certificate.
- It is a smaller, newer site, online since April 2026.
